For Beginners, improvers and those who would like to learn how to read patterns
There will be plenty of hand-outs showing techniques (and problem solving!),
along with a choice of easy-to-follow patterns for children, men and women.
Week 1:
Overview of yarns & appropriate size needles
Casting on & off
Basic stitches – Knit (Plain) & Purl. All stitches derive from these two stitches.

Instructions for a simple project will be given to you to work on at home
If possible,
please bring 2 sets of needles 1mm difference in size (ie 4mm & 5mm)
& yarn to practice with. There will be some needles to share on the day.
Yarn and needles are also available to buy in the shop.
