Craft exchange / Workshop get together for people around Tuamgraney and Kilalloe

Workshop 'get together' starting January 20th every Thursday

The idea behind these 'get-together' is to give everybody the possibility to learn about all kinds of crafts, to exchange techniques and all on a donation basis. It will be going on regularly every Thursday in Caherhurley, Tuamgraney Co. Clare. Please e-mail for directions. woollygathering@hotmail.com

Here we go:

A couple of hours in the morning while the kids are at school! Learn the basics of knitting
and how to read patterns in a few sessions.  If you would like to share a craft, please fell free
to contact us !
Cost: 5 Euros  and a little Tea/Coffee Donation would be appreciated!

Teacher: Elizabeth Porrit
Duration: 4 Sessions
Date: Starting Thursday 20th of January 2011.
Time: 10 am - 12.30pm
Materials: Wool and needles are available in the shop, but feel free to bring your own (3-4 mm hook).

Craft: Knitting
Teacher: Sarah Thompson
Duration: 4 Sessions
Date: Thursday 17th of February 2011.
Materials: Wool and needles are available in the shop, but feel free to bring your own (3 - 4mm needles)

Needlefelting is a beautiful newish craft, with no boundaries. We will teach you how to
build up a figure  handle the different needles and give guidance in the art of sculpting wool.
